France x Reader Soaking Hearts

You were in the park leaning against a tree. Closing up your book you looked at the sky. It had gone from  beautiful blue to an icky gray. You got up and brushed off your knees. You began to walk on the sidewalk in the direction of your home. You felt a slight rain drop hit your cheek.

"Oh crap..." You said. More and more came and before you knew it the rain was pouring in torrents. You raced trying to get out of the park and to the safety of your home. As you ran you tripped on a puddle and your book went flying.

"No!" You said as you tried to grab it. You were surprised when another pair of hands caught it. It was a man with blue eyes, blonde wavy hair, and a little stubble of a beard. He handed you the book.

"That could of been bad mon amour." You were surprised by his french accent. You held it tightly. He opened up an  umbrella and put it over you.

"You dont have to..." You stopped as he kissed your hand. He looked up and smiled. You felt light pink blush cover your cheeks.

"I insist." He stands next to you and you both begin to walk. He looks at your damp book. His expression happy.

"You're into romance novels?" You were shocked by his voice. You nod and smile sheepishly.

"Yeah, It's nerdy I know." He pulled you in closer. Both of your arms touching. You glanced at him and he chuckled.

"No, romance novels are a lovely thing." He said it with a wide smile. Your face flushed in embarrassment.

You reached your home and you took out your keys. You swung open the door and stepped in. The man stayed outside. You gave a come in gesture.

"Please come in. You should wait here until the storm stops." He grins and steps in. You shut the door and look at him. He closed his umbrella and shook his head to get any water out. He ran his fingers through it to fix it. Your heart skipped a beat.

"Thank you for letting me stay belle dame." You had no idea what he said, but you still got red in the face. You nod at him and walk to the kitchen. I have to get us something to drink you thought. You  start a pot of tea. You hear walking around around and feel nerovus. The tea finished and you head out with two cups.

"I have some drinks." You say. You dont see him in the living room. You put down the tray of tea. You look around the house. Maybe he left.

"Mademoiselle, I'm over here." You sighed in relief and head in the direction his voice came from. You see him next to your book shelf. He had book in his hand. He came up to you and smiled sweetly.

"Can I borrow this?" His eyes lock with yours in a moment of silence. You let out a light 'yes'. You look outside and see the rain had stopped. He noticed this too. He began to gather his things and you watched from a far. He went to you and kissed your cheek. Your whole face went hot. He grinned.

"Thanks again." You felt your heart beat against your chest.

"Wait, whats your name? I'm _______." You rushed the words out in a jumbled mess. He was at the entrance and he looked over. He blew a kiss to you.

"Francis Bonnefoy." He walked away and left. You stood there for a moment in thought. Francis huh? It was a lovely name.
